Day oo5 Bandelier Memory (June 7, 2021)

After my early flurry of attempts, I stopped drawing for nearly a year. Life took over, and the pencils stayed silent.

This was one of the first sketches after that long pause, an echo of the Bandelier dwellings carved into the New Mexico cliffs. The light and depth hinted at something I didn’t yet understand but wanted to. The walls felt ancient, and I was still learning to see.

Sometimes growth hides in the quiet seasons.
