Day 029: Learning Water
This piece takes me back to a time when I was trying to understand how water actually moves. I was studying from a how-to book and testing ideas I didn’t fully understand yet. Those early experiments became the foundation for the way I now paint water in acrylic, oil, and oil pastel. Looking at this one reminds me how every step, even the awkward ones, becomes part of the language you build as an artist.
