Date: 2021-9 Some colors feel like they rise straight out of the earth just to grab your attention. Today’s throwback is one of my early experiments with bold red forms. I remember being fascinated by how these shapes push upward like living embers. I loved working with that red-orange glow, letting it carry the whole piece. I purposely kept the background soft and out of focus so the eye would stay locked on the flower itself
