Date: 2021-10-23 I remember exactly where I was when I finished this piece. I was staying at my sister’s house, caring for my mother after she had just been released from the hospital following COVID. I liked this work when I completed it, and I still do. It felt steady at the time, even with everything else unsettled around me. As I kept going, the balance slowly shifted. Fewer duds. More hits. But this one still holds its ground.
