Day 072 — Yosemite Sunset

This is one of my early chromo works. Rather than chasing form or accuracy, I let color and feeling lead. The structure is simple by design, but the aim was to convey the quiet power of a valley that has been painted countless times. Not by reinventing it, but by responding to how it felt to stand there.
