Day 083: Marble Canyon

Date: 2021-11-25

This was my favorite piece at the time, and even now it remains one of my most meaningful works from the first 83 paintings. It is simple, yet it carries weight. It holds that quiet moment when light and temperature begin to shift.

You can almost feel the sunlight flicker behind your eyes, then sense the air cool as the boat slips into shadow. The canyon walls still glow with warmth as the setting sun offers its final farewell, lingering just long enough to be remembered.
