Day 011 – Rose in Study
This was my first piece done with soft pastels. I immediately noticed how much more vibrant the colors were compared with pencils, and how much easier it was to control the tones. Each medium behaves differently, and when you switch, you reset some of what you learned from the last one. The difference made me realize how much the right medium changes the way you see and work.
