This was my first acrylic painting.
And honestly, it didn’t feel like much.
It wasn’t remarkable. It didn’t surprise me. I eventually threw it away. But it still mattered. Acrylic is more forgiving and more straightforward than pastels, and it helped me focus on basic composition, color blocking, and finish.
Not every piece is meant to last.
Some are only meant to teach.
Looking back, this one did exactly that.
