Day 020: Perspective Disaster
Some paintings fight you all the way through. This one did. The perspective went wild, and I was still trying to understand how soft pastels worked. I nearly left it out of the Lumo500 series because it felt so bad. But part of my commitment was to show every step, even the rough ones.
I learned early that finishing a piece, even when it’s failing, teaches more than quitting ever could. Over time, I reworked and studied my failures until they became turning points. This one reminds me that progress hides inside persistence.
